Jonathan Pollard, a US Navy intelligence analyst, was arrested in November 1985 for passing classified documents to Israel. He was sentenced to life in prison in 1987. The affair strained relations between Israel and the United States, and Israeli governments campaigned for his release for decades. He was paroled in 2015 and moved to Israel in 2020.Continue ▸
