Israeli residents of Judea and Samaria grew from 1,182 in 1972 to 111,600 in 1993, 193,000 in 2000 and about 541,000 in 2025. The population nearly tripled between 2000 and 2025.

Sources. 1972 to 2015: CBS-based figures as compiled by Wikipedia for the West Bank excluding East Jerusalem. 2020 to 2025: the Jewish Virtual Library’s compilation of the same CBS series, which excludes East Jerusalem and gives slightly higher totals, so the two sources are separated by a dashed line. Figures are Israeli residents, Jews and Others, in the Israeli communities. Palestinian residents of the West Bank are not included here and appear on the next page.
